Provision of adequate water has been concerned since the beginning of life. In modern world, water always exist for main problem for human needs. The minimal services from PDAM make opened many actors in water supply business. In Kelurahan Tanjung Mas, water supply provision consist of :

· Shallow / individual wells

Shallow wells in this area have depth approximately 2-3 meters from ground surface. Every household have it. It is so easy to get water from it. But the problem is the water quality from that well. Sea water intrusion has caused worse quality of its water. The color of water becomes yellow to brown. The water becomes salty and it cannot use for cooking moreover it is so dangerous to drink. If the water uses for wash clothes, the clothes was getting dirty. So all the inhabitants only use the water for watering plants and roads. Mr. Suyono one of household there said that 10 years ago, the water quality of that well is better than the present.

· Collective wells

Collective wells mean well on the certain region, that used by a group of inhabitants. It can be had by that group as a management or can be had by individually one. In Tanjung Mas Kelurahan, both of them found. There are 42 collective wells there. If someone has it, it is used to get some profit. The kind of this wells are artesian well. The dept is between 80-100 m. the water that taken from inner groundwater. One well is used to service 7-10 household for their daily needs. We can imagine how much water is taken everyday. The system of water services used pipes that go to their home. They manage their own pipes. They give money to the owner every month. It is approximately Rp. 2.000-3.000/m³.

· Water kiosk

Usually we call it as refilled-water kiosk. It can be found in Tanjung Mas Kelurahan. We could buy water from the kiosk by bringing our own bottles. Tirta Arizky, the only one water-kiosk there. People usually like to buy there than bottled-water suck as AQUA because it is cheaper. The cost of 1 gallon water is Rp. 3.000,-. The inhabitants there believe for its water quality. The buyers can watch directly of water treatment. The water source is from Ungaran Mountain deep well.

· Gallon bottled-water.

People usually could buy bottled-water at every distribution channel, such as supermarket or shops near their homes. The bottled-water that can be found easy is AQUA. It is first bottled-water Company in Indonesia. The other bottled-water is also found there, such as Aquaria, Total, MQ, Sega, Lov, and Yora.

· Water peddler

Other inhabitants buy water from the peddlers. Water peddler deliver water to household by jerrycan or tanker. The water peddlers take water from collective wells, shallow wells, and PDAM’s reservoir by buy it. It depends on the buyers demand. Consequently there are variety water prices. I met one of the water peddlers, named Iyo. He has been a water peddler since 1980. He sells water on the Tanjung Mas area, and gets water by buy it at artesian wells (collective wells). Everyday he can sell 150 jerrycan of water. Every 10 jerrycan, he sells it Rp. 1.500-2.000.
